Marina d'Or has been awarded the Tourist Prize

Marina d’Or has just been awarded the Tourist Prize which is annually organised by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Castellón. This award recognises the development of the services fuelled by this famous company, which have converted its Holiday Resort in Oropesa del Mar, Castellón, into a top level tourist centre.

This prize acknowledges the services offered by Marina d'Or-Holiday Resort towards national tourism, of the Valencian Community and the Costa Azahar, based on the company’s installations on the Castellón coastline, where Marina d’Or has five hotels: the five star Hotel Balneario Marina d’Or, four star Marina d’Or Hotel, and the three star establishments, Marina d’Or, Hotel Beach and Gran Duque. This last hotel, the most recently built, holds more than six hundred rooms.

The management and collaborators of Marina d’Or – Holiday Resort, have expressed their gratitude to the jury of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Castellón, for awarding this prize, which is another to add to the large collection awarded to the company chaired by the businessman Jesús Ger.

Marina d’Or – Holiday Resort has comfortably covered the expectations that were generated during its construction, becoming a tourist centre attracting visitors from all over Spain and many foreign countries.

Marina d’Or attracts mainly family tourism, and in the case of Spain, most are from Madrid and surrounding areas, the Basque Country, Navarra, Aragón, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla-León and the Valencian Community.

 A desirable and coveted place, on the banks of a tranquil sea and disposing of all the services sought by the visitor, from five, four and three star hotels, all of which hold the maximum comforts corresponding to their respective categories, including the exceptional catering services of their specialised restaurants, as well as lively pubs and discotheques, bars, terraces, large pretty gardens and green areas, sports installations, and water-sports.

On the other hand, everyone coincides in pointing out that one of Marina d'Or-Holiday Resort reasons for success is the existence of the Salt Water Scientific Spa and its Medical Centre Specialised in Health and Beauty.
