Marina d’Or – Holiday Resort receives the second edition of the Amaya Valdemoro International Campus, in which children and youngsters between the ages of 6 and 17 can train with the player and with other top female basketball stars. On this occasion, the campus will have two entrance dates, one from 28th of June to the 5th of July, and the other from the 6th to the 12th of July. Amaya Valdemoro, the best female basketball player in Spain, repeats her appearance in Marina d’Or – Holiday Resort. More than 200 people participated in last year’s activities, where they trained within the work programme, perfecting their style and skills.
Marina d’Or’s Activities
During the weeks of training, children and youngsters can enjoy the range of opportunities that Marina d’Or – Holiday Resort has on offer. For the younger children, Mundo Fantasia kiddies park, the largest in the Valencian region, with a carroussel, a small go-kart track, bumper cars, trampolines, inflatable play areas, a launcher, and water attractions are also available. There is a 3D Cinema too, where the spectator feels he is playing the main character in the film, thanks to the surprising images, interactive moving seats and impressive sound effects. Youngsters can visit the Parque Aventura d’Or, which offers attractions unique to Europe; they can experience quad riding in a rally-type circuit, hurl themselves down a slide more than 50 metres long, develop skills in an American trail full of zip-wires and bridges, enjoy the water canals of Los Rápidos, compete in rock-climbing in the Rocódromo, and discover new sensations in spectacular attractions such as Caída Libre (free-fall), La Batidora (the shaker), or Jumping. All of the attractions are TüV certified, an internationally reknowned organism, that certifies the correct installation of each attraction.
