what should i do to finalize my booking?

The booking will be finalized when your personal details have been introduced and 15% (where booking the Ofertón or getaways) of the total amount of the booking has been paid by any of the available payment methods. Once payment is made, you should print the booking number with the booking information. This booking number can be found on the booking screen as soon as booking is complete, or in the email address you supplied while introducing our personal details.

what is included in each meal plan or accommodation type?

• Accommodation and breakfast includes accommodation in the chosen hotel and breakfast.
• Half-board includes accommodation in the chosen hotel, breakfast and lunch or dinner in the buffet.
• Full-board includes accommodation in the chosen hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel buffet.
• In our buffets you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a children’s buffet available in our hotels. Our food buffets at lunch and dinner include free top brand drinks (house wine, Spanish beers, water and soft drinks). Some of our buffets also offer a Wine Menu (not included in the meal price) for our customers.

what is check in and check out time for the rooms??

• Check-in for hotels is from 16.00 to 22.00. Check-out should be before 11.00 am. Later checkouts please check with reception for availability.
• I want a cot for my baby. Is there an extra charge?
• No, the service has no extra charge. It’s free. Check availability, service for children aged 0 - 24 months

is my booking guaranteed?

Yes, from the moment 5% of the booking is paid, the booking is guaranteed

If the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to arrival, there are no cancelation costs.
If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to departure, cancellation costs amount to 25% of the total amount of the booking.
If you do not show up on check-in date or leave early, the costs will be 100% of the total amount of the booking.

If you are booked into our 5* Hotel, you can choose between two different rates – one with the seawater spa included and one without. In the rest of the hotels and multiservice apartments, access to the SPA area with heated pool, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, UV rays and gymnasium are included free of charge during your stay.

Just for staying in Marina d'Or you have a free play-centre service available for children aged 3-12 in the MINICLUB close to the Gran Duque Hotel.
If your child is younger check out our baby sitting service calling 964 31 39 00 (not free of charge).


If you have booked a multiservice apartment there is a cleaning service (except kitchen) from Monday to Friday (except bank-holidays). Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days.
If you have booked a self-catering apartment daily cleaning is not included. You can however contract the service by calling 964 72 72 70.

What services are included in Full Board?

Full board means you can enjoy a large variety of dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner in all our buffets. There is also a children’s buffet in all our hotels. Our lunch and dinner buffets also have a free drinks bar (house wine, Spanish beer, water and soft drinks). Some of our buffets also offer customers a select wine menu (not included in the price).

Can you take food into the parks? Once you’re in the park, can you re-enter if you leave??

Our park offer includes young children’s, adventure and water parks (where users walk about barefoot...), and in which there are shows, acrobatics, etc. For these health and safety reasons food and drink cannot be brought into the park, except in two of the play centres for young children (the Miniclub and the 5* Hotel Play Centre). The other parks do, however, have food areas with food and drinks services. Mundo Fantasia children’s park and Aventura d’Or adventure park are open access parks, and guests can enter and leave as they please. The entry price allows users to use the rides. The Enchanted Garden works with a system of passes with a show and drink included, with the route around the park taking approximately 45-60 minutes. The Polynesia Water Park, in high season, offers morning, afternoon or full day sessions. The Holiday Resort’s three play centres (the Miniclub, Pequemundo and the 5* Hotel Play Centre) are paid for by hours, and users can leave and re-enter the park as many times as they like during the contracted period.

Do the hotels have car parking? How much does it cost?

The hotels and the apartments offer car parking solutions. The cost ranges from 10 to 16 Euros.

Does the complex have free WI-FI?

Yes. The Holiday Resort offers free WI-FI to guests staying in the hotels, with log-in details available at reception. The special WI-FI areas are indicated in the reception areas, coffee shops...

How do I get to the Holiday Resort from Oropesa or from Castellón? How far away is the Resort?

Marina d'Or is less than 2 kilometres from Oropesa del Mar and just 22 kilometres from Castellón. From Oropesa, the Holiday Resort is directly accessible from the Avenida Barcelona, a dual carriageway linking the town and the resort. There are also cycle paths. From Castellón guests can arrive along the N340 main road, along the A7 motorway (exit 45), along the coast road or by train.

Do I have to wear a swimming cap and footwear?

The scientific seawater spa has rigorous sanitary and phytosanitary processes and controls in place, which allow us to keep the installations germ free. For this reason use of swimming caps and footwear is not required. However, while swimming caps are allowed, footwear is not, specifically because of hygiene issues. For this reason the waters in the whole spa are continually renewed every 3 hours. .

Which hotels have swimming-pool? Can I go to the Gran Duque Hotel's pool event if I´m not staying at this hotel?

Each of our hotels has its own spa, some in the hotel itself and others just a short walk from the hotel. Nonetheless, they all have a heated pool, an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Gymnasium. Some of these services require prior appointment. If you are staying in our 5* Hotel, you will enjoy free access to the seawater spa leisure area.

Can I enjoy the activity programme if I am not staying as a guest? Is there any additional cost? Does the Holiday Resort offer free activities?

The complex offers an extensive sports-tourist animation programme, for all ages and for guests staying in the hotels and multiservice apartments. There are also many other activities open to the general public which are either free or subject to a minimum consumption requirement, as is the case, for example, with the grand shows.

What benefits do holders of the Owner’s VIP Pass enjoy?

Marina d'Or apartment owners enjoy a range of different discounts in many of the Holiday Resort’s services. 20% discount in the seawater spa, Aesthetic Beauty Centre, buffets, restaurants, shopping gallery, boutiques and leisure parks. 5% in all our hotels and apartments for bookings made in your name.

How much does it cost to rent sports courts?

The free animation programme included for guests staying in hotels and multiservice apartments includes, generally, a determined number of sports activities. As well as these activities, our guests can rent tennis courts, padel tennis courts, squash courts, full regulation FIFA size natural turf football pitches at the following rates: Tennis courts: 1 hour 9€; Padel tennis courts: 1 hour 9€; Squash courts: 30 min 4€ Table tennis: 1 hour 6€ Mini-golf: 1 hour / person 4€ Multi-sports courts (basketball, futsal…): 1 hour 14€ The Holiday Resort also offers other activities, such as spinning, electric bike rental etc.

Why do we ask for your credit card details at check-in

A credit card number is needed to guarantee possible damages and expenses which are undeclared at check-out: for example mini-bar, car parking, room service etc... This helps us make check-out an easier process for our customers, giving them a chance to enjoy our facilities to the maximum.

Why does the whole stay have to be paid for upon arrival at the hotel?

In the Marina d’Or Holiday Resort we welcome customers from all over the world. This policy, as many others, aims to make things easier for all our customers, wherever they come from. However, Marina d'Or does guarantee the immediate refund of those quantities that, are considered as justified reasons as per the Valencian Governments Real Decreto 19/1997 of the 11th of February and susceptible for refund when the contracted services have not been used.
